bond-24-SPECTRE_PC_016_rgbThe wait is finally over…SPECTRE is the title of the new Bond Movie. The production of BOND 24 will begin principal photography next week. As always speculation on just about everything begins immediately. Possible filming locations include India, and of course Pinewood Studios in London. Rumours swirled around Sebastian Faulks 007 Novel Devil May Care as a possible title for BOND 24 (which has since been dismissed…I still like Risico, and Property of a Lady is still a favourite). John Travolta had eyes on playing the role of the villain (not this time), Penelope Cruz still wants to be a BOND Girl (maybe??), and we know the Producers would like Adele to warble out the next Bond Theme Song…but so far she hasn’t said yes (God let’s hope she does!!) So much speculation…let’s try to tell you what we do know!! Stick with Canada’s James Bond Expert for all the news on BOND 24 and check out our great Article form the Huffington Post from 2012 BOND 50 Celebrations. Click the Link to watch the Press Conference Here Live this morning.

BOND 24 will be directed by Sam Mendes, director of SKYFALL the most successful 007 of all time earning over 1 Billion dollars. After previously not being available due to scheduling conflicts, the producers were so keen on having Sam in the director’s chair for a 2nd time, an agreement was struck…but this resulted in a pushed back Release Date into 2015…October 23rd to be exact. Daniel Craig will take on the role of James Bond for the 4th time. Ben Whishaw will return as Q, Naomie Harris as Moneypenny and Ralph Fiennes as M and according to John Logan, the 1st Draft of the new Script is almost done. BOND 24 opens OCT 23 2015 in the UK and in North America on NOV 6. Recently we have heard hints that Rihanna might make a cameo in the film as well as possibly sing the Theme Song, Penelope Cruz is still in the mix for a possible Femme Fatale but we do also know that Dutch-Swedish Cinematographer Hoyte van Hoytema has signed on, French Actress Lea Seydoux (MI Ghost Protocol) will be a Bond Girl and Chris Corbould has signed on as Special Effects Supervisor. Lastly we de now that 007 will have a new Aston Martin…thanks to producer Michael Wilson quoted recently at the Opening of BOND IN MOTION in Covent Garden at the London Film Museum.
